eGramSwaraj.org is an independent civic-tech information and reference portal. We are NOT operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, the Government of India, or the official eGramSwaraj portal (egramswaraj.gov.in).

1. Commitment to Privacy & Anti-Phishing

At eGramSwaraj.org, accessible from https://egramswaraj.org, the privacy of our visitors is of paramount importance. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of information that are collected and recorded by eGramSwaraj.org and how we use it.

2. Strict Non-Collection of Government Credentials

eGramSwaraj.org NEVER requests, collects, stores, or processes government user credentials, passwords, Aadhaar numbers, OTP tokens, or Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) cryptographic PINs.

We do not possess access to official government servers or database backends. Any administrative action, voucher creation, or payment approval must occur solely on the official government website at https://egramswaraj.gov.in/.

eGramSwaraj.org follows a standard procedure of using log files. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

Our interactive client-side tools (such as the GPDP Workflow Checker) utilize your browser's standard HTML5 localStorage to save your progress locally on your own computer. This data is never transmitted to our servers.
